Infes has signed two new contracts to reconstruct educational buildings. In Vilnius, the company will renovate and expand the primary education branch of Grand Duke Gediminas Progymnasium on Blindžių Street, while in Klaipėda it will reconstruct the “Boružėlė” Branch of the “Traukinukas” Nursery School.
In Vilnius’ Žvėrynas district, the school building, in use for more than six decades, will undergo a major transformation. Its floor area will increase from approximately 1,700 sq m to more than 5,800 sq m, while capacity will grow from the current 235 pupils to 384.
The school will comprise five interconnected buildings, featuring additional learning spaces, FabLAB and ArtLAB creative laboratories, sports and assembly halls, and a civil protection shelter. The school grounds will also be upgraded, with outdoor classrooms, sports and playground facilities, and recreational areas planned. One key challenge will be integrating the existing structures of the more than 60-year-old building with the new solutions.

In Klaipėda, the works will take place at the “Boružėlė” Branch of the “Traukinukas” Nursery School on Danės Street. Infes will reconstruct and expand the existing 1,068 sq m building to more than 2,300 sq m. The project will also include installing and upgrading engineering systems and improving the nursery grounds.
Following the reconstruction, the nursery will accommodate 10 groups and around 190 children. The upgraded facilities will provide more space for learning, rest, and play, as well as new sports and assembly halls.
